DJ Muro - El Carnaval VLS

Muro
DJ Muro from Japan...I happened to find this single on my motherland's massive online market Taobao and then I ripped it. Nip-Hop is always hard to find a copy online due to Japan's policy and IPR shit but I don't give a f--k. The CD verison of El Carnaval is not the same as the vinyl version, it's like a combination of "11154" and "El Carnaval" vinyl version, with 5 tracks containing a Coldcut remix of "11154" and a Tom & Joyce remix version of "El Carnaval". Muro did a great job on producing this kind of positive-sound Hip-Hop music.

Empty Pockets - Who Got The Motts (1995)

Who Got The Motts
You may consider the record "Who Got The Motts" as the 1993 single while this one I uploaded is actually a 95 micellaneous. Empty Pockets represents one of the best underground and live stage rap duo and their records are something every fan desiring to collect. Their boombastic sound prevails on every stage but their albums are not that easy to find. I happened to find this copy in my collection, and just check this real shit.

Da Golden Ray - Macedoine (2004)

Macedoine
This one is quiet good. West Coast Undergorund shit by Da Golden Ray who was part of the Legendary indie multi-ethnic group Private School and I Ran Y, brought us a mysterical oddessey into the independent underworld. Macedoine  is an instrumental album, with some witty metaphor referring each song to different kinds of fruits, which can make you feel quite relaxed. The atmosphere is so mind-blowing but I bet you will enjoy this shit.

MC Lida - I Am 听不懂

I remember it was 2010 and I was hanging around Xujiahui back then, and I noticed this guy, robust and swag, rapping his lingo and spit "听不懂"(Chinese, means "I don't understand") at times. People were really attracted by this guy and gradually tended to buy this album. In essence, this is not an album or mixtape, it's a compilation of his past works with a new track called "I Am 听不懂", articulating his funny experience when he ,in China, attempted to talk to those who actually don't speak English at all.
In his own words, he came for his love of China and the far east "mystical" language. MC Lida is an Italian-American, born in Senegal. He, to my surprise, seems to be a linguist since that he can speak Italian, English, African and now you know, Chinese as well.
I'm not sure whter this one is called "I Am 听不懂" or "我知道上海"(I Know Shanghai). But it doesn't matter! Peace to international rappers like MC Lida. The lyrical bard brought me a unique excursion to African Hip Hop and I bet you will enjoy it.

Abigail Washburn & The Shanghai Restoration Project - Afterquake 震后

                                  Hope & Revival
It's not a pure rap/hip hop album and you can consider it as a fushion of hip hop, country and electronia, and might call it abstract hip-hop or something...whatever. Afterquake was a record after Wenchuan Eartghquake in 2008, it is produced by country muscian Abigail Washburn from the U.S. and Dave Laing from Shanghai Restoration Project. Both producers utlized spatula to level the surface of this mixture and stirred their styles collectively. Throughtout the album, Sichuan dialect that you may take it for some peculiar lingo and Children's innocent chanting impart a sense of tranquility to the afterquake country.Consisting 7 tracks, Afterquake is not a commercial harangue with senseless braggadocio, it's allure stems from  people's solidarity and affection when facing the sorrowful natural disaster. All in all, Afterquake is worth listening.
